A Belarusian retailer, ZNWR, has taken the internet by storm with its bubble wrap dresses, dubbed the “Balenciaga of Belarus.” Priced at S$116 (approximately Rs 7,200), these eye-catching outfits are made entirely of bubble-filled panels that provide a satisfying popping experience. The dress gained widespread attention after a TikTok user shared a video from a Minsk mall, where she discovered the dress on display. She captioned the video: “Girls, if you’re looking for a dress, here you go.”
The video proved the bubble wrap dress was not a wrapping paper, but an actual clothing. The TikTok user also pointed out the zipper and price tag with 280 Belarussian rubles or S$116.

The odd design became an overnight sensation, flooding the reactions of Instagram. One user commented, “My God, how to wear it. All your stress will come out when you put it on and it pops. But they are brilliant guys.” Others joked, “Send this jacket to your ex to calm down,” and “Balenciaga? Not surprising but cool.”
ZNRW’s limited-edition collection has only 20 pieces of bubble wrap dresses and 20 jackets, where the jacket will cost 380 rubles (S$158 or Rs 9,900). The quirky design breaks with the classic holiday fashion trend that is in velvet and satin, reminiscent of other such unusual pop culture outfits, like the infamous meat dress by Lady Gaga.
