Vintage Grail, a luxury watch store, described it as an exceptionally rare find, noting, “You’d be lucky to have seen these in your lifetime.”

Made from a single piece of sapphire, the watch has a pirate skull and crossbones design housed in a tonneau-shaped case. The back of the skull, acting as a center bridge, is visible through the sapphire caseback. The movement is attached to the case through four bridges, resembling the “bones” of a pirate flag.
