The Telangana High Court has launched the live streaming for all 29 Courts.
Justice Alok Aradhe, the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court has inaugurated the monumental feature. The Chief Justice Aradhe on August 15, 2023 stated that the High Court is taking active steps for the introduction of live-streaming feature in all Courts.
The website of the Telangana High Court has been updated to incorporate this new feature which also permits of viewing the recorded the Court proceedings in the interests of transparency and efficiency. The proceedings of the court can be accessed through the following link: http://telangana.functionslive.com/live/#/court/tile The Diviison bench comprising of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili in the case observed wherein the Public Interest Litigation, PIL is moved by Advocate Srilekha Poojari back in the year 2022, wherein it is prayed for the implementation of the directions of the Supreme Court in considering the adoption of live-streaming both in High Courts as well as in the district courts.
