LAHDC-KSSRB conducts OMR-based examination for teacher posts

The Kargil Subordinate Service Recruitment Board (KSSRB), under the aegis of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, successfully conducted an OMR-Based examination for teacher posts, overseen by Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse. The examination took place at the Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil, ensuring stringent adherence to standardized procedures and transparency measures.
DC Shrikant, who also serves as the Chairman of LAHDC-KSSRB, personally inspected the examination center at GDC Kargil to oversee the arrangements and ensure a smooth conduct of the examination process.
The District Administration Kargil meticulously organized all necessary arrangements to facilitate the smooth functioning of the examination. With stringent security measures in place, including the deployment of senior officers as Examination Observers and adequate security personnel, the examination commenced punctually at 11 a.m. The question booklets were provided in four sets with varied sequences of questions, ensuring fairness, while candidates were also furnished with carbon copies of the marked OMR sheets for self-evaluation. Moreover, the entire examination proceedings were conducted under CCTV surveillance to minaintain integrity and transparency.
Dr. Khanzada Mohd Usman, Deputy Director Employment/Secretary, LAHDC-KSSRB, revealed that out of 128 candidates, 126 appeared for the examination against 23 vacancies. Candidates expressed their contentment with the arrangements and appreciated the authorities for their efforts in ensuring a fair and transparent examination process.
In a further step towards transparency, LAHDC-KSSRB has released the answer key for the teacher examination, urging candidates to submit their objections or queries, if any, at the Office of the Deputy Director, Employment and Counseling Centre Kargil, by 12 noon on February 20, 2024. Subsequent to this deadline, no objections or queries will be entertained. The answer key is available for reference on the official website of LAHDC-KSSRB, www.dssrbkargil.in.
The successful conduct of the OMR-Based examination underscores LAHDC-KSSRB’s commitment to upholding fairness, transparency, and meritocracy in the recruitment process, ensuring the selection of the most qualified candidates for teacher positions in the region.
