As the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections are nearing, the Congress has intensified its campaign. Senior Congress leaders from other states have gathered in Rajasthan for the party’s campaign. In this regard, Kuldeep Sharma, the former speaker of Haryana, is also campaigning in Rajasthan.
During this, Kuldeep Sharma, speaking exclusively to The Daily Guardian, fiercely criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the schemes of the Gehlot government are praiseworthy. At the same time, he also praised the Congress’s manifesto.
He said, “The entire BJP practices the politics of religion along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The situation is that they don’t have any issues. Today, inflation and unemployment have become the biggest issues in the country, prompting these people to come down on the politics of religion. But, the country will not run on such religious politics. Whatever promises the BJP made to the youth of the country will have to be fulfilled. In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections next year, the people of the country will remove the BJP from power.” While mentioning Haryana, he said that the Congress will form a government in Haryana in the upcoming assembly elections.
Schemes like Rajasthan are not implemented anywhere: Sharma
Former Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Sharma said that the schemes implemented by the Rajasthan government are not implemented in any other state. He said, “Rajasthan is the first state where the Right to Health has been implemented. Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about providing gas cylinders in Rajasthan for 450 rupees, but this is just a gimmick. If this is not a gimmick, then why is the gas cylinder not being provided for 450 rupees in the states where the BJP is in power?”
He said that the people of Rajasthan would not fall for the false promises of the BJP.
On November 25, Rajasthan is set to undergo elections, with the vote count scheduled for December 3. The outcome will reveal whether the state continues the established trend of changing governments every five years or breaks away from this pattern.
