Railway development work in the district will now progress rapidly. Approval for several new projects has been received from the railway. In this series, the work of two escalators on platforms 2-3 and 4-5 of Jodhpur station has been approved. Additionally, high-level work on platform number one of Salawas, Sri Bhadriya Lathi, Marwar Methri, Harlaya, and Shaitan Singh Nagar stations, and platform number two of Dundara station has been approved. The expansion work of platform number one at Basni station has also been approved. Similarly, a new station building will be constructed at Basni and Mahamandir railway stations.
