From December 1 to January 14, 2024, the spotlight will be on Jodhpur, Rajasthan, as it becomes the epicenter of the Polo world. The 24th edition of the Jodhpur Polo Season is set to take place at the Maharaja Gaj Singh Sports Foundation Polo Ground on Air Force Road, Pabupura, organised by the Jodhpur Polo and Equestrian Institute.
Featuring an exciting lineup, the season includes three IPA 8-goal tournaments, three low-goal Club Tournaments, and nine thrilling one-day exhibition matches. The prestigious event will be graced by HH Maharaja Gajsingh II of Jodhpur-Marwar, a stalwart in the polo community since 1952.
Inderjeet Singh, secretary of the Jodhpur Polo and Equestrian Institute, outlined the tournament schedule: “The Amateurs Cup (2 goals) will run from December 1-4. Following this, the Umaid Bhawan Palace Cup (4 goals) is scheduled for December 6-8. IPA tournaments, including the HH Maharaja of Jodhpur Cup (8 goals) from December 14-18, the Rajputana and Central India Cup (8 goals) from December 19-24, and the Maharaja of Jodhpur Golden Jubilee Cup (8 goals) from December 27-31.
