The Jammu Kashmir Raj Bhawan marked the Statehood Day celebrations of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram with fervor and unity, as Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha extended heartfelt greetings and well wishes to the people of both states.
In his message, the Lt Governor expressed sincere prayers for the health, happiness, and prosperity of the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram while emphasizing the significance of the occasion in strengthening the socio-economic and cultural ties between Jammu Kashmir and the North Eastern states.
Recognizing Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram as embodiments of India’s rich cultural tapestry, the Lt Governor highlighted their illustrious heritage in literature, folk arts, festivals, sports, and handicrafts, which epitomize the country’s unity in diversity.
He praised the concerted efforts of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in bridging development gaps and aligning the aspirations of the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram with the national vision, thereby fostering an environment of growth and inclusivity.
During the commemoration, homage was paid to the esteemed personalities from Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram, with a firm belief that the younger generation will play a pivotal role in realizing the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
