The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh, will commence the JEECUP 2024 counselling choice filling process today, July 12. Eligible candidates of UPJEE 2024 can visit the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in, to fill their preferences for colleges and courses.
The first round of choice filling will conclude on July 14. Seat allotment results for round 1 will be announced by July 15, 5 pm. Candidates selected in this round will have from July 16 to July 19 to pay the seat acceptance fee and complete document verification at help centres. Seat withdrawal for round 1 counselling will be allowed until July 21.
The counselling process will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1, consisting of three rounds, is exclusively for candidates from UP. Choice filling for rounds 2 and 3 will begin on July 22 and August 2 respectively, for both UP and other state candidates. Phase 2, or special counselling, will include rounds 4 and 5. Classes for phase 2 admittees will commence on September 9.
Required documents include JEECUP 2024 admit card, counselling seat allotment letter, class 10 and 12 mark sheets, character certificate, two passport size photographs, domicile proof, and category reservation certificate if applicable. Candidates must carry at least two sets of photocopies of these documents. Admission will be confirmed upon receipt of the provisional admission letter.
