The cold is intensifying in the state. The minimum temperatures in several cities, including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Churu, have dropped by one to two degrees Celsius. The temperature in the hill station Mount Abu has again fallen to zero degrees Celsius. Weather experts estimate that the cold will persist in this manner for the next few days.
This is the fourth time this month that the temperature in Mount Abu has reached or fallen below the freezing point. Along with the increasing cold, there is also an increase in the number of tourists. Besides the hill station, Shekhawati is also experiencing intense cold. In Churu, the minimum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 6.4 degrees Celsius, in Pilani at 7 degrees, and in Sikar at 5.5 degrees Celsius.
The capital, Jaipur, witnessed the coldest night of the season on Sunday. The minimum temperature dropped to 10.7 degrees Celsius, making it the lowest temperature of the season.
