On Tuesday, a one-day division-level training workshop was organised at the Swami Vivekananda Sabhasad Bhawan in the Municipal Corporation Greater Headquarters Building as part of Swachh Survekshan-2024. The workshop aimed to provide detailed information about the upcoming survey to urban bodies, emphasising better performance through a comprehensive presentation.
Deputy Commissioner of Health, Naveen Bhardwaj, highlighted that the theme for the upcoming survey is “Re-use, Re-reduce, Re-cycle (RRR),” involving a total of 4800 cities across the country.
The workshop outlined separate criteria and marks for each activity in the cleanliness survey. Emphasis was placed on the importance of spreading the message of cleanliness among the general public by engaging public representatives and various voluntary organizations. This collective effort aims to secure an excellent rank in the Swachh Survekshan 2024 survey.
