Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s Hebrew-language account on the social media platform X was suspended after only two posts, according to The Jerusalem Post.
The latest post, shared on Sunday, stated: “The Zionist regime made a mistake, and erred in its calculation regarding Iran. We will make it understand what power, ability, initiative and desire the Iranian nation has.”
The account’s first post, made on Saturday, read: “In the name of Allah the merciful.” These posts came following Israel’s recent strikes on Iranian military targets.
Khamenei frequently posts in Hebrew on his main X account, often employing strong rhetoric against Israel. Speaking on Sunday, he emphasized that while Israel might seek to exaggerate the effects of its airstrikes, “it would also not be right for Iran to dismiss the strikes as insignificant,” CNN reported.
“They’re making a miscalculation concerning Iran,” Khamenei stated in remarks published on his website. “They still haven’t been able to correctly understand the power, capability, ingenuity, and determination of the Iranian people. We need to make them understand these things.”
On Saturday, Iran reported that Israeli airstrikes targeting its military installations resulted in the deaths of two soldiers. Israel conducted simultaneous strikes on missile manufacturing facilities, surface-to-air missile systems, and other “aerial capabilities.”
Iran later claimed that the air attacks had “concluded” its response to Iran’s missile strike on October 1, stating that its warplanes returned safely and the mission was “fulfilled.” The Iranian air force confirmed strikes on military bases in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces, which reportedly “caused limited damage.”
