This setback compounds KKR’s woes after their loss to Rajasthan Royals, with Jos Buttler’s exceptional batting securing the victory for the visitors. Rajasthan Royals currently lead the standings with 12 points from seven matches, while KKR sits in a close second with 10 points from seven matches.
This isn’t the first instance of a captain receiving a fine in IPL 2024, as Gill, Samson, and Pant have also faced penalties for similar infractions. Another offense of this nature could result in a suspension for the captains.
