Mohsin Khan, a left-arm pacer, will join his team Lucknow Super Giants for the remainder of the Indian Premier League 2023. He was unable to play because of a shoulder injury.
During the 2022 IPL season, a young fast bowler wowed everyone.
He was a key player for LSG this season, taking 14 wickets in nine matches with the best bowling figures of 4/16. He had taken wickets at a 14.07 average and a 5.97 economy. Mohsin was first acquired by the Mumbai Indians in 2018, but he received his first match opportunity when LSG purchased the pacer for Rs 20 lakhs in the IPL auction 2022.
Mohsin would join Mark Wood, Avesh Khan, Mayank Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat, Yash Thakur, and Naveen-ul-Haq as pace and medium pacer options.
LSG faced Punjab Kings in their previous match, which they lost by two wickets in Lucknow on Saturday.
After being put to bat first by PBKS, LSG scored 159/8 in 20 overs. KL Rahul found his form, scoring 74 in 56 balls with eight fours and a six. Kyle Mayers (29), Krunal Pandya (18), and Marcus Stoinis (15) also contributed significantly to their team’s modest total. They were unable to convert their strong starts into significant knocks.
