Heavy Rainfall Alert for East India
The IMD has issued alerts for heavy to very heavy rainfall in East India, particularly impacting West Bengal and the Northeastern states.
Kolkata is under a heavy thunderstorm warning. The city is expected to see a high of 31°C and a low of 27°C with a 75% chance of rain and high humidity levels of 85%. Residents are advised to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel.
Northern parts of the country will experience generally pleasant weather with no rain alerts.
Delhi can expect a sunny day with temperatures ranging from a high of 33°C to a low of 27°C. The humidity will be around 75%, and there is no chance of rain during the daytime.
West India: Isolated Showers Expected
The western coast will see a mix of clouds and isolated light showers.
Mumbai will see a light rain shower during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 28°C, dropping to 26°C at night. There is a 20% chance of rain with humidity at 80%.
Ahmedabad will have a mostly cloudy sky with a high of 31°C. The chance of rain is low at 10%.
Pune will be cloudy with a 10% chance of rain during the day. Light rain is forecast for the night, with a 40% chance and a low of 22°C.

Generally Pleasant with Light Showers
Southern cities will experience moderate weather with a possibility of light rainfall.
Bengaluru will have light rain with temperatures between 27°C and 21°C. The chance of precipitation is 20%.
Chennai will experience a cloudy day with a high of 32°C and a low of 27°C. The chance of rain remains low at 10%.
Hyderabad will see light rain during the day and a higher 65% chance of rain tonight, with temperatures settling between 27°C and 23°C.
