Voters of Manipur again go to vote after Violence

Voters of Manipur have come back to the polling places amidst tight security on Monday days after the violence did not let the election to happen.

The results were declared void in 11 districts of Manipur. After the damage imposed by the armed men to the electronic machines during its first day of general elections on Friday.

As per state administration, that in six stations, the electronic machines are broken.

Meanwhile the congress party had alleged that the elections in Manipur are rigged and asked for re-election in 47 stations of the state. Despite the fights between different armed groups. The northeastern state witnessed the voter’s turnout of 73.05%.
