Weeks after a 32-year-old UPSC aspirant was killed and burned by his live-in partner in Delhi, shocking new details have emerged. During the investigation, police recovered a hard disk from the victim’s flat that allegedly contains obscene videos of more than 15 women. Forensic experts are now examining the footage to identify the women and confirm whether the videos were recorded with their consent.

An officer involved in the case told Hindustan Times, “It appears that the deceased had done the same with multiple women and used to record their private videos on his laptop. The laptop has not been recovered yet, but the hard disk has been seized, and it has videos of more than 15 women.”

UPSC Aspirant Killed by Live-In Partner

The 32-year-old victim’s charred body was found inside his apartment in North Delhi’s Timarpur on October 6. Initially, police registered a case of accidental fire. However, further investigation revealed it was a premeditated murder planned by his 21-year-old live-in partner, a BSc forensic science student from Moradabad.

The woman allegedly conspired with her ex-boyfriend, an LPG gas distributor, and another man to kill the aspirant. Investigators believe the motive was revenge and humiliation after the woman found that he had secretly filmed obscene videos of her and refused to delete them.

According to police, the accused strangled the man to death, poured oil and alcohol over the body, and set it on fire to make it appear as an accident. “They opened the gas regulator and ignited a lighter, creating the scene of an accidental fire. The cylinder was placed near the victim’s head. About an hour later, the fire spread and the cylinder exploded, completely burning the body,” an officer said.

Plot Unravels Through CCTV Footage

The murder plot came to light after the victim’s cousin raised doubts about the cause of death. Police reviewed CCTV footage from the building, which showed two men and a woman entering the flat before the fire and the woman leaving shortly after.

The forensic background of the main accused and her alleged fascination with crime reportedly helped her plan the cover-up. Police say her scientific knowledge of forensic procedures played a major role in trying to mislead investigators.

The three accused — the woman, her ex-boyfriend, and another associate — are currently under arrest. The forensic examination of the seized hard disk is ongoing, and authorities are also searching for the missing laptop that may contain more evidence.
