UP: MiG-29 Fighter Jet Crashes Near Agra; Pilot Ejects Safely

A MiG-29 fighter jet crashed on Monday afternoon near Agra, Uttar Pradesh, shortly after taking off from Adhampur in Punjab. Fortunately, the pilot successfully ejected from the aircraft and is reported safe.

Details of the Incident Defence officials confirmed that the jet was en route to Agra for a scheduled exercise when the crash occurred. An official statement noted, “A MiG-29 fighter jet has crashed near Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The pilot has ejected from the plane. The plane had taken off from Adampur in Punjab and was on its way to Agra for an exercise at the time of the incident.”

Investigation Planned A Court of Inquiry will be initiated to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Further details about the incident are expected to be released as the situation develops.
