‘Terrorists Want to Destroy Kashmir Again,’ Says PM Modi in Mann Ki Baat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the Pahalgam terror attack on Sunday during his Mann Ki Baat radio programme. He assured the families of the victims that justice would be served. He also emphasized that the terror attack on April 22 was an attempt to disrupt peace in the union territory.

In his message, PM Modi said, “The terror attack in Pahalgam reflects the frustration of those who patronise terrorism, it shows their cowardice. At a time when peace was returning to Kashmir, schools and colleges were vibrant, democracy was getting strengthened, there was a rise in tourism, and new opportunities were being generated for the youth, but the enemies of Jammu and Kashmir and the country did not like this. Terrorists want to destroy Kashmir once again.”

PM Modi Shares Nation’s Grief

Moreover, PM Modi expressed deep sorrow over the incident. He stated, “The April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam has left every citizen heartbroken. Every Indian feels deep sympathy for the families of the victims.”

He added that the tragedy had caused “deep agony in my heart.” According to him, every citizen across the country was feeling angry and hurt after the brutal attack. “I once again assure the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack that they will get justice,” he reiterated during the broadcast.

PM Urges Citizens to Stay United

Furthermore, the Prime Minister called on people to stay strong and determined. He urged everyone to strengthen “our resolve to face the challenge” of terrorism. He made it clear that India would not bow down to those who attempt to spread fear and hatred.
