Police in Thane, Maharashtra, filed a case against a man on Saturday for allegedly beating an auto driver after water splashed on him from the autorickshaw’s wheel, according to an official.
The official reported that the accused, Shahbaz, also known as Nannu Khan, was riding a motorbike on Ghodbunder Road when he got into a Fight with the auto driver around 5:30 pm on Friday.
According to the FIR, one wheel of the autorickshaw went into a pothole, splashing water on Khan, which made him angry.
An hour later, as the auto driver was returning on the same route, when Khan attacked him with a knife.
