Kishtwar, Nov 7: In a tragic incident, two Village Defence Guards (VDGs) were killed by terrorists in the forest area of Kowantra village, located in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to police sources, the two VDG members had ventured into the forest to graze their cattle when they were abducted by militants. The terrorists later executed the victims, leaving the area in shock.
The police confirmed the incident and stated that security forces have launched a massive search operation in the region to track down the assailants. The area has been cordoned off as authorities intensify their efforts to neutralize the militants responsible for this gruesome act.
This attack marks yet another incident of target killings by militants in Jammu and Kashmir, further escalating concerns over the safety of local security personnel and civilians in the region. Authorities have vowed to take swift action in response to the growing threat posed by these militant groups.
