In preparation for the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the ‘Shri Ram Charan Paduka Yatra’ is scheduled to depart from Chitrakoot on January 15. The Yatra will commence from Bharatkup, Chitrakoot, pass through Prayagraj, and culminate in Ayodhya.

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony for the Ram Temple is slated for January 22. Vedic rituals leading to the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla will commence on January 16, one week before the main ceremony.

On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform rituals to mark the pran prathishta of the idol of Ram Lalla at the grand temple. A team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit will conduct the main rituals for the pran prathistha of Ram Lalla on the designated day.

Ayodhya is set to host the Amrit Mahotsav from January 14 to January 22, coinciding with the grand ceremony. To accommodate the anticipated influx of devotees, several tent cities are being erected in Ayodhya, ensuring arrangements for a successful and significant ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony.
