A 27-year-old man, Mohammed Qutubuddin, was brutally murdered by three individuals using knives and a stick in an act of revenge in Asif Nagar. The incident, which occurred near Asif Nagar crossroads, was captured on video and later went viral.
The attack took place around 10.30 pm when Qutubuddin was walking alone. The accused, identified as Tahir, Sheikh Aman, Zaveer, and others, attacked him. Despite trying to flee, Qutubuddin was caught and mercilessly beaten. Despite attempts by a bystander to intervene, the attackers continued their assault until Qutubuddin succumbed to his injuries on the road.
According to the police, Qutubuddin was allegedly responsible for the killing of Tahir’s brother a few months ago. Upon learning that Qutubuddin had been released on bail, the accused planned the attack.
The incident was recorded by a witness on a phone. Following the murder, the accused fled the scene. The Asif Nagar police have registered a case under section 302 (murder) of the IPC, and investigations are ongoing.
