Real-Life Hero: Haryana’s Subhan Khan Rescues Nine People from Flooded Bridge Using Bulldozer

Subhan Khan from Haryana has recently become a real-life hero in Telangana, demonstrating that heroism isn’t always about wearing capes but sometimes about operating bulldozers. Khan made headlines for rescuing nine people stranded on a bridge amid severe flooding in the southern state.

The dramatic incident occurred on the Prakash Nagar bridge over the Munneru River in Khammam district, where rising water levels left nine people trapped. They had recorded a video plea for help to the state government, but a rescue helicopter was unable to reach them due to poor weather conditions.

With official help unavailable, Subhan Khan took it upon himself to use his bulldozer for the rescue mission. Despite warnings about the dangers, he decided to act. “If I die, it is one life, but if I return, I will save nine,” Khan stated before driving his bulldozer to the bridge. He successfully brought the stranded individuals back to safety, and upon their return, both Khan and the rescued were met with cheers.

In the video recorded by the victims, a voice believed to be Khan’s daughter expressed, “I am shivering, my daddy, he managed to do what he set out to.”

Khan’s courageous act has garnered widespread acclaim, boosting his popularity. His phone has been inundated with messages of praise, including a call from prominent Opposition leader and former minister KT Rama Rao, also known as KTR.

In a social media post, KTR congratulated Khan, stating, “Just congratulated him on the phone. It’s not just about having guts; you need a heart to be a true hero. You, my brother Subhan Khan, have saved many families from lifelong pain by rescuing these nine people.”

He further added, “While the government was contemplating how to send a helicopter, you ventured into danger and saved them all. Salute to your big heart and remarkable grit! I’ll surely meet you once I’m back. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
