The Indian Air Force’s 93rd anniversary was celebrated with pride, creativity, and a touch of humour, but there was something which caught the attention of everyone. A photo of the menu at the celebration was shared widely on social media. The photo showed a unique food menu created to mark the Air Force Day celebrations, and it had a clear message aimed at trolling Pakistan.
Patriotic Menu That Mocked Pakistan
The menu, themed around Operation Sindoor, cleverly named its dishes after Pakistani cities and towns that were hit during Indian strikes. Each dish carried a name symbolising India’s military success.
The main course featured:
- Rawalpindi Chicken Tikka Masala
- Rafiqui Rhara Mutton
- Bholari Paneer Methi Malai
- Sukkur Savera Kofta
- Sargodha Dal Makhani
- Jacobabad Mewa Pulao
- Bahawalpur Naan
For dessert, the list included Balakot Tiramisu, Muzaffarabad Kulfi Faluda, and Muridke Meetha Pan.
The creativity behind the names made it clear that the menu was more than just a meal, as it was a tribute to the Indian Air Force’s bravery and precision during Operation Sindoor.

Air Chief Praises the Force’s Precision and Courage
During the 93rd anniversary celebrations, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh emphasised the significance of Operation Sindoor and its enduring impact on national security and public confidence.
He said, “Our performance in Operation Sindoor fills us with professional pride. We proved to the world how air power can be effectively used in shaping military outcomes in just a few days.”
He further added, “Our robust air defence architecture and offensive employment of long-range surface-to-air missile systems limited the adversary’s ability to operate and ensured safety of our vital assets.”
A Symbol of Pride and Creativity
The Chief of Air Staff described Operation Sindoor as a shining example of what can be achieved through “meticulous planning, disciplined training and determined execution.”
The viral menu, shared by Lt Gen Dhillon, symbolised the same spirit — a mix of discipline, creativity, and pride. As India celebrated the Air Force’s 93rd anniversary, the message was clear: courage, precision, and confidence remain at the heart of the Indian Air Force’s identity.
