A shocking altercation took place in Greater Noida at the Radha Sky Gardens residential society, resulting in six shots being fired. The incident reportedly stemmed from a parking dispute between a resident, Gaurav Sisodia, and the security guards. According to witnesses, Sisodia, who owns a pub in Greater Noida, had been drinking when the situation escalated late Monday night. In a moment of heated exchange, Sisodia allegedly fired his licensed gun at the guards, though fortunately, no one was injured.
Ashutosh Srivastav, a resident of the complex, described the argument as a culmination of ongoing tensions between residents and the security personnel. The dispute, which had been brewing for several days, reportedly involved multiple verbal and physical altercations. On the night of the incident, things took a dangerous turn when Sisodia opened fire, claiming it was in “self-defense.”
According to Srivastav, Sisodia had been involved in several exchanges with the guards throughout the evening. “Late at night, a resident opened fire in the name of self-defense. He fired six times. Thankfully, no security guard was injured,” Srivastav shared. Videos circulating on social media show Sisodia arguing with a guard, who tries to reason with him. The argument escalates, with Sisodia daring the guard to slap him and accusing the guards of harassment.
In one of the viral videos, Sisodia can be heard verbally sparring with a security guard, hurling insults and even threatening physical violence. He accuses the guards of mistreating women, claiming that they had molested women within the complex. As the altercation intensifies, Sisodia allegedly grabs a man by the collar, while others try to intervene. The video captures Sisodia threatening to shoot the guards, further escalating the situation.
In response to the incident, the police have registered a case against Gaurav Sisodia. Shakti Mohan Avasthy, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida), confirmed that the gunshots were fired into the air during the confrontation. “We have registered a case following a complaint by the security officer of the residential complex. We are checking the CCTV footage for further action,” said Avasthy.
Sisodia, who remains a prominent figure in Greater Noida as the owner of the Tathastu pub, faces serious charges in the case, and police are continuing to review the evidence before taking further action. The community and authorities are awaiting further developments in the case, as the incident highlights the growing concern over security and safety within residential complexes.
