PM Modi To Release 17th Installment Of PM Kisan Scheme: Check The Details

Marking the government’s continued commitment to farmers’ welfare, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release the 17th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme in Varanasi. Costing Rs.20,000 crore to benefit 9.3 crore people.

As per this scheme, eligible farmers get Rs 2,000 every four months, which amounts to an annual total of Rs 6,000. These funds are disbursed to farmers in three installments each year: April-July, August-November, and December-March, directly deposited into their bank accounts.

This scheme was announced during the Interim Budget 2019 by then Finance Minister Piyush Goyal and subsequently, it was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Requirements For PM Kisan

In order to get the installments, first, farmers should complete their e-KYC, as it is necessary.

‘eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP-based eKYC is available on the PMKISAN Portal, or the nearest CSC centers may be contacted for Biometric-based eKYC.’ says scheme’s official website.

How To Verify Beneficiary Status

However, if you have any doubts regarding your status as a beneficiary, here are the following the steps to be followed for the same.

1. First, Go to Official Website- https://pmkisan.gov.in/
2. Then Select On ‘Know Your Status’ button on page’s right side.
3. Enter Registration Number and fill Captcha Code, and then click on ‘Get Data’ option
4. In this way, your beneficiary status will be displayed.

How To Check Your Name In Beneficiary List

In additon, if you want to check your name, Follow these four steps.

1. Go to Official Website- https://pmkisan.gov.in/
2. Select on ‘Beneficiary list’ tab.
3. Click on details mentioned from drop-down such as  select state, district, sub-district, block, and village
4. Last, Select on  ‘Get report’ tab and the list of beneficiaries will be seen.

How To Apply For PM Kisan-Scheme

To register for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana scheme, here are the following steps: –

1. Visit the Official Website- https://pmkisan.gov.in/

2. Then, select on ‘New Farmer Registration’ and register your Aadhar Card Number and complete captcha.

3. Fill Up the Necessary Details and select ‘Yes’

4. Then in PM-Kisan application form 2024, enter the information asked.

5. Last, for future use, save the information and take out the printout.

About PM-Kisan Scheme

Introduced in the year 2018 by NDA government, The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana aims to support landholding farmers by giving them financial assistance for agricultural and other associated activities.

Under this scheme, registered and eligible farmers get Rs 2,000 every four months, which amounts to Rs 6,000 annually.
