PM Modi Honors “Himveers” on ITBP’s 63rd Raising Day

As the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) celebrates its 63rd Raising Day on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent heartfelt greetings to the “Himveers” and their families, highlighting the force’s symbol of valor and dedication.

“Raising Day greetings to ITBP Himveers and their families. This Force stands tall as a symbol of valor and dedication. They protect us in some of the most challenging terrains and extreme weather conditions. Their efforts during natural disasters and rescue operations fill us with immense pride,” PM Modi shared on X.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his congratulations, praising the bravery and patriotism of ITBP personnel. “Greetings to the personnel of the ITBP on their Raising Day. Their unwavering dedication to protecting our nation amidst extreme weather is truly remarkable. The nation takes immense pride in their bravery. My salutations to the immortal Himveers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” he wrote.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju added his best wishes, saying, “On the Raising Day of ITBP, I extend warm greetings to the entire ITBP family. The nation is proud of your sacrifices in guarding and protecting our motherland. Salute to #Himveer.”

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan remarked, “Raising Day greetings to the indomitable Himveers of @ITBP_official. For years, ITBP has been a symbol of courage and dedication, guarding our borders in the most challenging conditions. I join the nation in honoring their resilience and sacrifices.”

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also expressed his congratulations: “Hearty congratulations on the foundation day of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police to the brave soldiers of @ITBP_official and their families. Their courage in protecting the nation under difficult circumstances is a point of pride for every Indian. Jai Hind!”

In a reaffirmation of its commitment to national security, ITBP posted on X: “On the 63rd Raising Day, #ITBP salutes the nation and honors the bravery and dedication of its personnel, who serve tirelessly in the harshest terrains. We pay tribute to those who made the supreme sacrifice for India and remain committed to the safety and security of our nation!”
