PM Modi Enjoys Tea at Home of 10th Crore Ujjwala Scheme Beneficiary During Ayodhya Visit

During his day-long visit to Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a break from his busy schedule to visit the home of the tenth-crore beneficiary of the Ujjwala Yojana, the government’s flagship scheme for providing clean cooking fuel to poor households. PM Modi was seen interacting with the beneficiary, exchanging pleasantries, and inquiring about her well-being over a cup of tea.

The Prime Minister’s impromptu visit allowed him to connect with the people and witness the impact of the Ujjwala Yojana firsthand. The Ujjwala Yojana, launched in May 2016, aims to provide deposit-free LPG connections to adult women from economically disadvantaged households.

As part of his broader initiatives in Ayodhya, PM Modi inaugurated various projects, including the redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station, new train services, and the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. The visit aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision to transform and enhance public infrastructure in Ayodhya, emphasizing its historical and cultural significance.

PM Modi’s engagement with the community, such as his visit to the home of a Ujjwala scheme beneficiary, reflects a personal connection with the beneficiaries of government welfare programs. The Prime Minister’s efforts to witness the on-ground impact of such schemes contribute to the government’s commitment to improving the lives of citizens.
