PM Modi Criticizes JMM, Claims Jharkhandis Feel Unsafe Due to Infiltrators

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday sharply criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for allegedly supporting “Bangladeshis and Rohingyas” and claimed that every citizen in Jharkhand feels unsafe due to the growing presence of infiltrators. Addressing a public rally in Jamshedpur, PM Modi expressed concern over the shrinking Adivasi population in the Santhal Pargana region, attributing it to the influx of infiltrators.

“In Santhal Pargana, the Adivasi population is rapidly decreasing, and infiltrators are seizing control of panchayat positions with the backing of the JMM. The incidents of crimes against daughters are on the rise. Every Jharkhandi feels unsafe because of these infiltrators,” PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister accused the JMM of promoting “appeasement politics,” claiming that extremists and infiltrators are gaining influence within the party. He further linked this issue to the Congress party’s influence over the JMM.

“These infiltrators and extremists have taken over the JMM because of its politics of appeasement. The Congress party’s influence has tainted the JMM, and now they only care about forming vote banks based on religion. This is the time to unite and support the BJP to stop this threat,” Modi added.

PM Modi also raised concerns about the changing demography of regions like Santhal Pargana and Kolhan, stating that the infiltration of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas poses a serious challenge to the state’s demographic balance. He criticized the JMM government for allegedly ignoring the problem, despite the Jharkhand High Court recently ordering an independent investigation into the issue of infiltration.

“The JMM government refuses to acknowledge the infiltration problem in Jharkhand, despite a court-ordered investigation. This infiltration is the biggest problem the state faces, and it threatens the safety of every citizen, especially parents of young daughters,” Modi stated.

The Prime Minister further attacked the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), calling them the “three enemies of Jharkhand” alongside the JMM. He accused these parties of working against the interests of Jharkhand’s backward, Adivasi, and Dalit communities.

“Congress, JMM, and RJD are enemies of Jharkhand. The RJD seeks revenge for the state’s creation, and the Congress has always held back the backward, Adivasi, and Dalit communities. The JMM, which rose to power on Adivasi votes, now stands with those who are seizing Adivasi lands,” PM Modi concluded.
