November 11 School Update: Are Schools Closed in Telangana, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh & Delhi?

Schools in Telangana and Bihar closed on Nov 11 for elections; Andhra Pradesh and Delhi schools remain open with normal schedules.

Schools will closed on Tuesday, November 11 would be due to several reasons election duty, local administration holidays, and even post-effects of weather conditions. Parents and students have been advised to check the latest notifications from the education department before heading to school.

Telangana Schools Closed Tomorrow

Schools, colleges and government offices will remain closed in Telangana, particularly in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills constituency, on November 11. The state government has declared a public holiday to facilitate the by-election in Jubilee Hills.

This is to ensure that the polling stations most of them set up in educational institutions function without any hindrance. The closure is confined to the constituency itself and the rest of Telangana will function as usual. Regular classes are expected to resume the following day.

Andhra Pradesh Schools Closed Tomorrow

For November 11, no new statewide school closures have been announced in Andhra Pradesh. Schools that earlier remained affected by heavy rainfall and Cyclone Montha have already reopened with most of the districts returning to regular schedules.

However, authorities continue to caution parents in areas that faced flooding or damage to remain alert over last-minute advisories at the district level. Unless fresh warnings are issued by local officials, classes will remain open in all districts.

Bihar Schools Closed Tomorrow

Bihar will close a number of schools in view of the second phase of assembly elections on November 11. A total of 122 constituencies across 20 districts, including East Champaran, Madhubani and Bhagalpur, will go for polling.

Many schools have been made polling centers and hence will remain closed on this day. Classes are likely to resume on November 12 as election-related arrangements will be cleared by then.

Delhi Schools Closed Tomorrow

Delhi will not be shut on November 11 as there is no election or administrative holiday in the capital on the date. But authorities here continue to watch air quality levels and can issue short-term advisories if pollution spikes again anytime soon.

All government and private schools in Delhi are expected to be open for regular classes.
