New Faces in Modi’s 3.0 Cabinet

Narendra Modi has been sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for a third consecutive term. The ceremony also featured the induction of various senior leaders and fresh faces into the Cabinet.

The list is as follows below:

Jyotiraditya Scindia: Jyotiraditya Scindia’s induction into Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s council of ministers marks a significant milestone in his political journey. After quitting the Congress four years ago, his importance in the BJP has been solidified with this appointment. Scindia, who won a landslide victory from his traditional Guna seat in the 2024 general elections as a BJP candidate, joins the cabinet with a record margin of over 5 lakh votes.

Ram Mohan Naidu: Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, the youngest union cabinet minister of India, has made a notable debut in Modi’s 3.0 cabinet. Representing the Srikakulam Lok Sabha constituency in Andhra Pradesh, Naidu has been elected to the 16th, 17th, and 18th Lok Sabha. His appointment brings a youthful energy and a fresh perspective to the cabinet.

Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh): Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also known as Lalan Singh, has been inducted into Modi’s 3.0 cabinet, marking his debut at the national level. His extensive political experience and leadership within his party have paved the way for his new role in the government.

HD Kumaraswamy: Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy makes his entry into Modi’s 3.0 cabinet, bringing with him years of political experience and regional influence. His induction signifies an important collaboration between regional and national political dynamics.

Manohar Lal Khattar: Manohar Lal Khattar, the Chief Minister of Haryana, is making his debut in the central cabinet. Known for his administrative acumen and leadership in Haryana, Khattar’s inclusion is expected to strengthen the Modi administration’s governance framework.

Jitan Ram Manjhi: Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi joins Modi’s 3.0 cabinet, adding his expertise and experience in state politics to the central government. His induction highlights the BJP’s strategy of inclusive representation.

These new additions to Modi’s 3.0 cabinet are expected to bring a mix of youthful vigor, seasoned experience, and regional representation, reflecting the diverse political landscape of India.
