Hira’s Long-Standing Connection to Keoladeo

Hira’s relationship with Keoladeo National Park spans over three decades, a place that has been an endless source of inspiration for his wildlife photography. “Every year, I find something new to experience in Keoladeo National Park. It is a paradise for wildlife photographers,” says Hira. The park holds a profound bond for him, with his first international gold medal being earned in 1999 for a photograph taken there.

Hira’s photograph not only celebrates nature’s beauty but also highlights the importance of wildlife conservation. Hira Punjabi, 60, spends over 200 days a year in the forest while continuously finding new ways to capture the untouched beauty of nature. “The forest is my inspiration to live,” he adds. He has showcased his work in over 50 countries, establishing himself as a revered name in wildlife photography.
