Heavy Rainfall Disrupts Normal Life

The weather conditions have already disrupted normal life. There is severe waterlogging in Pune, resulting in citizens urging for the closure of schools, colleges, and offices on social media. Transport services have been affected in Mumbai. A monorail heading towards Wadala was halted due to a technical glitch, and the passengers were shifted to another train coming from Chembur.

“The train heading to Wadala halted. Passengers were transferred to the train coming from Chembur. The Fire Brigade came later and started their operation. Monorail officials are saying that it was a supply issue. I urge the Govt to resolve this recurring issue,” said Rajesh Ananda Bhojane, Ward Councillor of Ward 175, Republican Party of India (Athawale), to ANI.
