Massive Crowd Greets PM Modi at Gaya Ji Rally | WATCH

In Gaya Ji, PM Modi inaugurated and laid foundations for projects worth Rs. 13,000 crore, spanning power, roads, health, and water. Key highlights include the Aunta-Simaria bridge, NH-21 upgrades, Buxar power plant, and new train services.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Gaya Ji for a rally where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth Rs. 13,000 crore. The projects will serve many sectors such as power, road, health, urban development, and water supply. 

PM Modi will also unveil the Aunta-Simaria bridge project on the River Ganga enhancing connectivity between North and South Bihar. He will also flag off the Amrit Bharat Express between Gaya and Delhi, and the Buddhist Circuit Train between Vaishali and Koderma.

Upon reaching Gaya Ji, PM Modi was Union Minister Jitan Ram Majhi felicitated him. He was wholeheartedly greeted by thousands of people. The crowd cheered as the prime minister was welcomed on stage. The gathering was seen waving Indian National flags.

PM Modi is on a two-state tour of Kolkata and Bihar to unveil a series of projects that aim at the development and growth of the region. 

Here’s a list of key projects that the prime minister is set to inaugurate:

  • Aunta-Simaria Bridge: A six-lane bridge on the Ganga worth Rs. 1,870 crore to cut over 100 km to detour for trucks and ease traffic.
  • NH-21 Upgrades: A four-lane Bakhtiyarpur–Mokama section for a smoother commute worth Rs. 1,900 crore.
  • Buxar Thermal Power Plant: Addition of 660 MV capacity to strengthen the electricity supply of Bihar, worth Rs. 6,880 crore. 
  • Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Muzzafarpur: Enhancement of treatment facilities to reduce patient travel to metro cities.
  • Namamai Gange Sewege Projects: To clean the Ganga and improve sanitation.
