Veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, aged 96, was admitted to Delhi’s Apollo Hospital on Tuesday, as reported. His condition is currently stable.
Advani was previously admitted to Apollo Hospital on July 3 and discharged the following day after a brief observation. A week before that, he was treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for age-related health issues and was discharged after a one-day stay.
Earlier this year, on March 31, President Droupadi Murmu honored Advani with India’s highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna, at his residence. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu.
