Infiltration Bid Foiled in Kupwara, Three Terrorists Killed.

Kashmir: The Indian Army on Sunday successfully foiled an infiltration attempt by terrorists near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran sector of Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir.

An official from the Army informed The Daily Guardian that alert troops detected the movement of heavily armed terrorists attempting to infiltrate Indian territory. Acting swiftly on this intelligence, the Army personnel confronted the terrorists, leading to a fierce exchange of gunfire.

In the ensuing confrontation, three terrorists were killed. The official confirmed that there were no casualties among the Indian troops. “Our alert troops noticed suspicious movement along the LoC and challenged the intruders, resulting in an exchange of fire. In the operation, three terrorists were neutralized,” the official said.

The Army has since launched a comprehensive search operation in the area to ensure there are no additional terrorists or threats lurking. The operation is ongoing, with security forces maintaining a high level of vigilance to prevent any further infiltration attempts.

The infiltration bid comes amid heightened security measures and increased vigilance along the LoC, especially in areas prone to such activities. The Army has been on high alert to thwart any attempts by terrorists to cross over into Indian territory, ensuring the safety and security of the region.

This successful operation underscores the relentless efforts and readiness of the Indian Army in safeguarding the nation’s borders. The vigilant and prompt action of the troops in Kupwara has once again highlighted the constant threats faced along the LoC and the Army’s unwavering commitment to countering these challenges.
