BBMB management is continuously increasing the discharge from Nangal Dam to Sutlej River, due to which the people living on the banks of Sutlej River have come under the grip of flood. 77, 200 cusecs of water is being released from Nangal Dam to Sutlej River, due to which Sutlej River is in full spate. Swami Ramanand Ashram, located about one kilometer from Nangal Dam, is completely submerged in water.Apart from this, dozens of villages such as Lower Mojowal, Beladhyani, Bhanam, Jindwadi etc. have been inundated due to the floods in the Sutlej River. People are taking their belongings to safer places with the help of rowboats. Apart from this, NDRF teams have also reached the spot. Chuki. People are suffering huge losses.
