Five members of a family, including two minors, were found murdered at Hotel Sharanjit in Lucknow’s Naka area early Wednesday, as reported. The accused, identified as 24-year-old Arshad, has been arrested at the crime scene.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Central Lucknow, Raveena Tyagi, the victims included Arshad’s mother, Asma, and his sisters: Alia (9), Alshia (19), Aksa (16), and Rahmeen (18).
The police suspect the murders were the result of domestic disputes. Arshad, originally from Agra, has been detained by local authorities. Forensic teams are collecting evidence from the scene, and a thorough investigation is underway.
