ESBD Announces To Contest Jammu & Kashmir Assembly Elections

Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal (ESBD) National President and Advocate Ankur Sharma
announced on Tuesday that the party will contest the upcoming Assembly elections in
Jammu & Kashmir. The announcement included the declaration of three candidates: Manoj Padha, the State President of J&K for the Bhaderwah constituency; Meenakshi Kalra for Doda-West; and Shrikant Rathore for Padder-Nagaseni.

In a handout issued in Jammu, Sharma stated that additional candidates for the second and third phases of the elections would be announced shortly. He emphasised the party’s
strategic expansion and its determination to make a significant impact in the region.

Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal, a registered political party with the Election Commission of India, has recently contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections across 20 constituencies in 15 states, using the Bansuri (Flute) as its symbol. The party’s objectives are rooted in its Sapt Sankalpas, which aim to empower and safeguard the Sanatan Indic civilisation.

In a bold political stance, ESBD has also called for the creation of a separate Jammu state
and the division of Kashmir into two union territories, one exclusively for the victims of the
Hindu Genocide.

Ankur Sharma, who gained prominence for his successful legal battle against the Roshni
Act, appealed to the people of Jammu Province to support ESBD and its candidates. He
argued that only through such support could Jammu achieve comprehensive empowerment, particularly in the political arena. He also clarified that the party will not field any candidates in Kashmir Province, focusing its efforts solely on Jammu.
