Prime Minister Narendra Modi told NDA MPs on Tuesday to put an end to long forms, outdated paperwork, and repetitive documentation. According to top government sources who spoke to News18, he stressed that citizens should not be forced to submit the same information again and again in different government departments — a common problem people face in offices.
PM Modi Call for Doorstep Delivery of Services
PM Modi reportedly said the government should move toward doorstep delivery of services, making public services simpler and more efficient. He emphasised that India has now entered a “full-fledged Reform Express phase”, where changes are being introduced quickly with a strong focus on benefiting citizens.

Modi’s Message on Social Media
In a post on X, the Prime Minister wrote, “Earlier today, attended a meeting of NDA MPs. We discussed various issues, notably ways to further our good governance agenda to realise our dream of a Viksit Bharat.”
Reforms Must Be Citizen-Centric, Not Just Economic
Sources said the PM reminded MPs that the government’s reform plans are not only about economics or revenue. Instead, they focus on placing the citizen at the centre, removing small daily obstacles that prevent people from living smoothly. He said the goal is to create a system where everyone can achieve their potential without unnecessary delays or friction.
Stay Connected to People, PM Tells MPs
PM Modi advised MPs to stay closely connected to the ground, listen to real concerns in their constituencies, and understand local issues. This, he said, would ensure that the Reform Express “reaches every household” and addresses small but important problems that affect everyday life.
Success of Trust-Based Governance
He recalled the government’s earlier move to introduce self-certification instead of demanding multiple approvals. The PM said the last ten years have shown that trusting citizens works, and fears of misuse were unfounded.
‘Ease of Life’ to Remain a Priority
The Prime Minister stressed that improving ‘ease of life’ is just as important as improving the ‘ease of doing business’. He assured MPs that both areas will remain major priorities as the next phase of reforms speeds up.
Felicitations After Bihar Win
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said the PM was honoured with a garland for the NDA’s victory in the Bihar elections. Rijiju added, “He gave excellent guidelines and guidance to all the NDA MPs on what we should do for the country, our constituencies, and our states.”
