Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni begins 3-day visit to Delhi

Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni arrived in New Delhi on Monday for a three-day visit to India, where he was received at the airport by Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Rajkumar Ranjan Singh.

The Ministry of External Affairs’ official spokesperson, Arindam Bagchi, shared the news on Twitter, stating that the visit presented an opportunity to strengthen the historic ties between India and Cambodia.

The visit of King Norodom Sihamoni to India commemorates the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations, marking the first visit by a Cambodian king in nearly six decades.

As part of the visit, the Cambodian King will be ceremonially welcomed at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 30 May, and later in the evening, President Droupadi Murmu will host a State Banquet in his honor.
