Cultural programme  held in Jaipur to showcase  Hindustani art

On Saturday, performances by renowned Hindustani artists completed a two-day cultural programme held in Jaipur to demonstrate the diverse and vibrant Hindustani art, culture and literature.
The cultural programme was organised by Jashn-e-Adab Sahityotsav, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Income Tax Department, as a significant part of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava’.
Before being held in Rajasthan, the Jashn-e-Adab Sahityotsav Cultural Kaarva’n Virasat 2023 has journeyed through several states of India.
Many renowned dignitaries, including Jaipur Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Irina Garg, RERA Rajasthan Chairman Shailendra K Aggarwal, and Founder and Secretary of Jashn-e-Adab Sahityotsav Kunwar Ranjeet Chauhan graced the programme with their presence.
The audience witnessed remarkable performances, including a Rajasthani folk singing performance by Padma Shri Ustad Anwar Khan, performances by Yateesh Acharya and Ameen Sabri and violin jugalbandi by father-son duo Ustad Aleem Khan and Areeb Ali Khan. Along with these performances, actor Manu Rishi Chaddha also shared his insights in a panel discussion titled ‘Theatre & OTT – Kya Khoya Kya Paya (Samajik Sarokar)’ in conversation with Padma Shri Ashok Chakradhar.
