Steps to Fix the Shutdown Issue

  1. Boot into Safe Mode or Windows Recovery Environment:
  • Restart your computer.
  • While it is starting up, press and hold the Shift key and select Restart.
  • Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  • Press F4 to start in Safe Mode.

2. Navigate to the CrowdStrike Directory:

  • Open File Explorer.
  • Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike.

3. Delete the Problematic File:

  • Find the file named C-00000291*.sys.
  • Delete this file.
