The streaming platform Max unveiled the latest teaser with a simple yet enticing word: “April.” The one-minute video highlights the new characters set to take center stage this season. While there are brief glimpses of the main protagonists, Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie Williams (Bella Ramsey), the teaser primarily focuses on the highly anticipated game characters Abby, Dina, and Isaac, who will be introduced in the upcoming season.
The HBO series is adapted from the globally renowned video game franchise created by Naughty Dog. Neil Druckmann, the studio head, serves as both the showrunner and writer, alongside Craig Mazin. In the latest teaser, Kaitlyn Dever voices Abby, delivering a powerful line: “It doesn’t matter if you have a code like me. The new promo also features brief appearances from several other characters. Gabriel Luna returns as Joel’s brother, Tommy, while Isabela Merced portrays Dina, seen dancing in Ellie’s arms. Jeffrey Wright appears as Isaac Dixon, a militia leader, a role he also voiced in the video games.
Although the month of the show’s return has been revealed, HBO has yet to confirm the exact release date.
