Pop star Britney Spears and actor Sam Asghari, whose three-year marriage officially ended a month ago on her birthday, are both moving forward. A day after New Year’s celebrations, Sam took to Instagram to share glimpses of his vacation, subtly introducing his new romantic partner in the process.
On Thursday, Sam Asghari posted a series of five photos on Instagram featuring a mystery woman. The first was a shot of the two embracing each other intimately under a palm tree. The second showed them resting on a tilted palm tree near the ocean. More pictures included a moment on the dance floor where Sam looked tenderly at her, a candid picture of Sam gazing at her from inside a vehicle, and a mirror selfie where the pair wore white and matched each other While Sam didn’t tag her, Just Jared identified the woman as Brooke Irvine, a Los Angeles-based real estate agent and former cheerleader. Sam captioned the post simply: “Happy New Year to All.”

Britney and Sam’s Divorce
On December 2, 2024, Britney Spears was finally confirmed as being legally separated from her husband, Sam. This happened exactly seven months after the date of their settlement for the May divorce. It coincided with the day that also happens to be Britney Spears’s birthday. Court papers show that it was the official separation date for their marriage.
Just over a year after getting married, Sam, 30, ended their partnership by filing for divorce in August 2023. He publicly wished Britney luck at the moment and asked the public and media to be understanding of the situation. “We’ll always cherish the love and respect we shared, and I wish her the best,” he added. Both appear to be welcoming new phases in their lives at this time.
