Hollywood actor Matthew Perry was given 27 Ketamine Doses in the final days, exposed by the ‘Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy’ documentary. Matthew died on October 28, 2023, which was full of shocking surprises, now turned into an inquiry. The documentary was streamed on Peacock and describes how the 54-year-old actor was administered no fewer than high doses of ketamine within the last three days of his life.
The film raises substantial claims for attributing malpractice and illegal delivery of ketamine; charges are now going against a few implicated. Senior assistant Kenneth Iwamasa gave Perry the ketamine, it is said.
Role of Ketamine
It was reported that Dr. Salvador Plasencia, a medical professional, had issued the drug and some of his treatment took place in a car in a parking lot utterly unfit for such an act. The investigation headed by Martin Estrada, a former U.S. attorney, called out the doctor for not acting even when obvious indicators were present.
Autopsy reports confirmed that there were high levels of ketamine in Perry’s body that ultimately activated the resolve to claim his life. According to the documentary, it was an almost entirely unsafe situation imposed on Perry, who was battling substance abuse.
Investigators detain that in the last three days, Iwamasa kept administering injectable ketamine, it was said on Dr. Plasencia’s behalf. Other extremely troubling revelations suggest that “The Ketamine Queen”, Jasveen Sangha, was a supplier of this drug.
Legal Impacts
Reportedly, when Perry died, he had asked for a very high dose of ketamine just before getting into his hot tub. It had been a couple of hours later when Iwamasa found him unresponsive.
In the wake of Perry’s death, five individuals are being sued in civil suits. Of the five, Iwamasa and two others have entered a plea of guilty to the conspiracy charge, while Dr. Plasencia faces a barrage of several charges but maintains he is innocent.
