During a prayer congregation for the release of detained Sikhs on Sunday, December 10, at historic city Damdama Sahib in Talwandi Sabo, a team led by Pujji Parminder Singh Jhota and Nihang Singhs apprehended two young men selling drugs near the bus stand. The video of the arrested individuals went viral on social media.
Nihang Singhs raised questions on Punjab Police and the government, stating that while they are being prevented from going to Gurudwara Sahib, drug peddlers like Sheream continue their illicit activities without facing any consequences. The Talwandi Sabo police have registered a case against the arrested individuals and initiated an investigation.
