Health Department has been alerted for prevention of malaria and dengue. On Tuesday, a camp was organized at Kalka CHC and training was given to the employees. In this, more than 30 employees learned tips to prevent dengue and malaria.

On this occasion, Panchkula District Malaria Officer Dr. Suresh Bhosale gave detailed information about the effective steps taken by the Health Department for the prevention of dengue. Under this training, details of malaria and dengue cases found last year were shown and their prevention was discussed. He trained the employees and said that during this period, teams will be deployed in high risk areas in advance.

Told the teams how to spray medicine if dengue larvae are found. Information was given about the dosage of medicine given to malaria patients. Information about different species of mosquitoes responsible for malaria and dengue fever was given. He said that the people of the village will be made aware with the help of Anganwadi workers. A letter will be written to Public Health after finding water leakage. Banners related to information about malaria and dengue will be put up at key places.

A letter will be written to the Panchayat Department and Municipal Corporation for availability of adequate number of fogging machines. The main participants in this training were Senior Medical Officer Dr. Sanjeev Goyal, Dr. Rajiv Narwal, Dr. Manish Garg and Medical Officer Dr. Lakshmi and Dr. Asima also participated.

Apart from this, Health Inspector Jasbir Singh, Health Supervisor Kuldeep Singh and others were present from the district headquarters.
