Following the legislative assembly elections, both major parties’ leaders in the state are claiming victory. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has claimed that the Congress will form the government in Rajasthan with a complete majority. The official vote count on December 3rd will confirm this. In addition, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra targeted the BJP, stating that they have failed in every conspiracy and do not even have a face for the Chief Minister among them.
On Wednesday, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra addressed a press conference saying, “Thanks to all voters for the record-breaking voting in Rajasthan. Due to the plans of the Congress government, the voter turnout has increased this time. Besides, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has also influenced people. This time the election in Rajasthan was on good governance. Congress entered the field with its development issues. Even during the coronavirus period, Congress did excellent work, which was discussed nationwide. There is a stir in other states as well regarding Congress’s plans. People expressed trust in Congress by seeing its plans.”
He said, “Congress’s important work is social security. People have expressed trust in Congress for its schemes like the pension scheme, OPS, free treatment up to 25 lakhs, electricity waiver, free laptop, and giving 10 thousand to women sarpanches.”
He targeted the opposition saying, “BJP was behind in giving jobs before and still is. BJP has promised to give one and a half lakh jobs. This time, traditions, not rules, will change, and Congress will form the government in Rajasthan with a complete majority.”
He added, “ The BJP does not have a Chief Ministerial face, and people are with us. The ditch of mistrust in the BJP is also deeper. We do not indulge in divisive politics. That is why we are getting a complete majority. While BJP’s alliances will fail. Just wait for the 3rd date. After that, the party’s high command will decide the Chief Minister’s face.”
Dotasra said, “The main agenda of the BJP is religious polarization, which did not work in Rajasthan this time. Because our government worked with everyone, Congress worked with everyone. BJP failed in every conspiracy, and the public rejected BJP’s issues. The youth of Rajasthan rejected the paper leak issue. BJP had no issue, so an attempt was made to create an issue.” The PCC Chief added, “When the election code of conduct was in force, some guests were sent to my house from Delhi. But the margin of my victory has increased.”
